1.) Ragnarok Multi Client. - During the early press conference with the game publisher Extreme, they have stated that 5 simultaneous multi clients where allowed for each PC. With this information, the Filipino gamers can't help but react to the feature. Most of the players are looking forward to the retro "1 player - 1 character" gaming experience and hoped that the game publishers would rethink about their features.
Thankfully, with all the signature propaganda and the endless comment rants, the message did get to the game publisher and decided to meet half way. Admin Lyra of Extreme (credit to the person who chatted with the admin) confirmed that Dual Client will be allowed. Hmmm... so it's either a slave priest or a vending merchant?
3.) Client has been updated. Philippine Server is configured but not accessible, yet. The sad thing here is that the background are all in Taiwanese language, Let's hope it gets updated to English soon. (Please no tagalog translation,,, my gad. :D)
With 4 more days to go until Closed Beta, pinoy gamers are really itching to go into rune midgard! Rok On!

2. How do I dual-client / box in Ragnarok Online? Is there a recommended dual-box software that can run RO properly (and hopefully not breach ToS)?
3. Is it possible to upscale the resolution of the display? How can I display RO running at 1920 x 1080 full screen to 3840 x 2160, for example?
1.) no proper forum has been release by the game publishers. I am pretty sure that they will open that website when the official launch will start or even on the earlier stages.
ReplyDelete2.) No need to use other softwares for dual clienting... you can simply run the patcher then start the game.. once you login your account, you can then run another patcher and start another game.. it will open 2 ragnarok applications / exe which you will be able to use.
3.)The screen resolution is limited to the setting and exe file unless you will use another hexed setting and exe file which can cater a higher resolution set up... the official game client cannot cater as far as 3840 x 2160.
