Ever since the announcement of the Philippine Ragnarok Online relaunch, people have been asking on what is the Revo-Classic Server?


1. During Close Beta and Official Launch a fresh Ragnarok server will be implemented, which means we will be playing with the basic maps and the 2-1 jobs. The game will also progress through episodes which will be available through game updates. It has been told that the 2-2 alternative class will be available 6 months after the commercial launch.

2. Grinding... Lots of grinding, the game mechanics for the revo-classic server has been change and leveling will indeed be a lot harder. In the classic version you only need to reach 99m experience to reach level 99 from level 89 in the Revo Classic you need 250m experience to level, which means it is 3x harder. Due to the very high experience requirement, players would be force to buy (if you have the luxury) the following items:

- Training Manual (experience boosters)
- Insurance (no experience loss)

Job Experience have also been adjusted and is now 8 times (8x) harder than before. Which means, that the time you will be able to get your Max Job Level is when you reach around the base level 95! Good luck on leveling!

3. The game publisher promises to eliminate the bot problems. Yes, no more bot! We all know that the main reason pRO vanished was the lack of real players, during its last 4 years, the server have been flooded with bots with a ration of 10 bots is to 1 player. Now with the relaunch of the pRO under the EXE game company they will do their best to make the server bot free!

4. Weapon damage and calculation. During the Classic pRO, a 4 slotted pike with a 2-size 2-property card would yield the better damage than the single slotted lance. With the Revo-Classic server the calculation will be based on the BASE ATTACK POWER which is rated by the weapon level. This mechanic will let players use the new weapons from the later episodes. Those special / rare weapons which are level 3 and level 4 types.

 5. Item Mall. Since the pRO relaunch has been announce as a F2P server expect that an Item Mall will be there to produce their income. Premium "consumable" and "rental" items will be available to players who have the money for it. The items on the item mall is said to just aid the players in leveling and hunting,  Rest assured that EXE will not sell any "Imba" and "Godly Items to ruin the game.

6. Multi-login. One PC can login 5 accounts simultaneously. This is a big issue among the old school players who want to preserve the old game mechanics. With this kind of feature players can easily create a slave priest which can help them level-up much faster. Right now this feature is under debate and a lot of online signature propaganda is being launched to not allow this. Multi login feature is implemented in the Thailand Server which means we will most likely follow.

7. Party is a must. Revo-classic servers have been fix the issue of Kill Stealing, which  means the Glast Heim KS-ing wont work anymore. If you want to level fast, a decent party on a decent map would be ideal to do so.

9. No player - monster gap. During the classic pRO it was a lot better to grind with the monsters which are (+/-) 5 your level in order to get the best experience. On the Revo-Classic server, players will no be able to grind with any monster level and still get a "Fixed" amount of experience.

8. Magic attack made a huge nerf. Wizard will not be the dominating class on the early episode of Ragnarok, In the Revo-Classic magic attack and casting delay have been adjusted to make it harder for the wizard class.
